Bring your library. Settle in.
Your subscription,
finally organised.
Flimmer is a player for the IPTV service you already pay for. It ships empty: you bring your own provider, and Flimmer turns that firehose into channels, films and series worth looking at.
It comes with nothing to watch. No channels, no playlists, no subscriptions, no provider relationships. If you do not already have an account with a service, Flimmer has nothing to show you — and we cannot help you find one.
What it does well
- Instant, even at absurd scale. A real provider's catalogue runs to hundreds of thousands of items. Flimmer indexes it on your iPhone, so browsing and search are immediate and work with no signal.
- Plays what the others cannot. Most of a typical film library is in a format Apple's own player will not open. Flimmer plays it anyway.
- Names that read like names. Providers shout in prefixes and tags. Flimmer quietly turns them into titles, years and badges.
- Picks up where you left off. With opt-in provider restore, the same library can reconnect on another device; without it, the provider credential and private library namespace stay on this iPhone. Profiles remain separate for a household.
- Knows your line's limits. If your subscription allows one stream at a time, Flimmer stops working in the background while you watch.
Privacy
Your video never passes through our servers — the app talks to your provider directly. We store the account data needed for sync: your email, profiles, favourites and resume points. Your provider address and username, plus its encrypted password, are stored only if you turn on restore; Apple sign-in also keeps an encrypted authorization solely for revocation when you delete the account. We never receive your video or provider catalogue. No trackers, no advertising, no third-party data collection — the only measurement is a handful of anonymous milestone counts with no identifier in them, which you can switch off in the app. Read the policy.
